Message from the Founder
This calling to bring joy, peace and healing to women has been on my heart for many years. It has been just a dream until now. I mustered up the courage to share this passion with others outside of my family circle. I want women to know that you can value and care for yourselves through small gestures of self care. I want women to see that mental health affects physical health, and that even with the burdens of the world on your shoulders you can still be vulnerable and worthy of "putting you first, sometimes". I hear self care all of the time and as a single parent of small children, who is also under budgetary restrictions this pursuit of pampering was often out of my reach, for one reason (child care) or another (finances). So, I decided to make that time for myself in my own home with the free time that I have, which is often after my children have gone to bed. I make bathing a ritual. I light scented candles. I burn incense. I use essential oils both in my bath and in a diffuser. I indulge myself with artisanal soaps. I created my own beauty regiments with lemons, limes, baking soda, epsom salt, loofahs and pumice stones. These "me times" transport me to another place on the musical notes of jazz, samba or the good old blues depending on my mood. Each time this ritual releases me feeling re-newed, re-freshed and re-enegized or just plain fresh and clean. As a self professed DIY (Do It Yourself) girl. Our why
As I studied herbalism, plant based eating and various cultural food preparation, I have discovered a passion to heal. I want to share this new passion with my family and my community.

What We've Achieved
Creating a brilliant blend of witch hazel, our liquid gold and highlighted with floral waters, I created our Loc Refresher.
Beard oils, yes I have those too, filled with Argan oil, lemongrass, vanilla, clove and cinnamon essential oils. Lemongrass not only strengthens the hair follicles but it also help prevents hair loss.
